Two works on paper devoted to 9/11 have humor woven through them: 9/11: Interrupting the Morning News is painted with brewed—coffee washes (as if spilled in shock), while Looking for Loved Ones: Destruction of the Giant Wal-Mart Town conflates two of American capitalism’s most visible symbols, New York and Wal-Mart.
